Immigration Law Section awards

The Immigration Law Section has chosen this year’s award recipients.

Robin L. Seligman has been named the recipient the Award of Excellence, which recognizes a senior member of the Section who has a lengthy and distinguished history of excellence. The award will be presented at this year’s Immigration Law Conference dinner, being held at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg.

J. Alicia Dueck-Read is the recipient of this year’s Founders’ Award, which recognizes an exceptional law student or junior lawyer.

Michael Battista, Kyle Hyndman and Nathan Po will receive the Volunteer Recognition Award, established in 2017 and aimed at recognizing significant contributions made by members to the CBA Immigration Law Section.
