CBA on the Cannabis Act

The CBA Immigration Law Section submitted a letter in response to the CBSA Consultation on proposed regulatory amendments to the Cannabis Act and the addition of certain cannabis offences to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). In the letter, the CBA Section also comments on the potential impact of the proposed amendments to the Criminal Code in Bill C-46 on Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) port of entry (POE) operations.
