The Annual Meeting of the Canadian Bar Association will be held at 1:00 pm EDT on August 17, 2017, at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Quebec. Remote access will be available to all CBA members, at hub locations across Canada to be announced. Information about the agenda and meeting logistics will be posted on CBA.org, no later than July 17, 2017.
RESOLUTIONS TO COUNCIL
The deadline for submitting resolutions for debate at the Annual Meeting is Friday, June 2, 2017.
Resolutions shall not exceed 300 words and shall include:
- The preamble (if any), giving concise, factual information about the nature of the problem or reason for the action being requested
- A resolving clause, clearly outlining the action to be taken
