So CBA’s two westernmost branches are going big.
Ten years after the CBABC Annual Branch Conference kicked off in Las Vegas, the B.C. branch is teaming up with CBA-Alberta to make the premier legal conference in Western Canada an even bigger event.
CBA West 2017 will take place in Las Vegas from Nov. 17 to 19. During the conference you’ll be able to rack up a full year’s PD hours, see exciting speakers, network, socialize, connect and re-connect with colleagues and leaders in the legal profession as well as several chief justices.
Highlights of the conference, which is being held at the luxury Wynn Las Vegas, include a gala dinner at the top of the Stratosphere – a restaurant with a view of the entire Las Vegas Strip
Speakers include Supreme Court Justice Russell Brown and former Supreme Court Justice Marshall Rothstein, Q.C. Nancy B. Rapoport, special counsel to the President of the University of Nevada, who appeared in an Academy Award-nominated documentary about Enron, will speak on legal ethics.
