Michèle Moreau of Montreal named incoming Second <abbr lang="en" title="Vice President">VP</abbr>

CBA President Janet Fuhrer is pleased to announce that Michèle Moreau of Montreal is the incoming CBA Second Vice-President. Her term begins in September 2016, with the acclamation becoming official at the CBA Mid-Winter Meeting of Council in February. 

An active member in the Quebec Branch and nationally, Michèle Moreau served as Branch President in 2013-2014. She is currently on the national Access to Justice Committee and was a member of the Pro Bono committee from 2011 to 2013. She was chair of the Professional Development Committee in 2011-2012. As of Jan. 1, 2016, she assumed the presidency of the Quebec Branch, a position she will hold until Aug. 31.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 1990, Michèle Moreau is Executive Director of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice. She was founding Director of Pro Bono Québec and the Centre de justice de proximité du Grand Montréal.
