Yellowknife Airport is the busiest airport in Northern Canada and is serviced by Air Canada, Canadian North, First Air and a number of regional carriers. The primary gateway to Yellowknife is Edmonton, 90 minutes away by jetliner. Other gateway communities include Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa.
