  • enter competition law (not in quotation marks) to find all articles containing the words competition and law
  • enter “competition law” policy to find all articles with both the exact phrase competition law and the word policy

Author

The Author field narrows your search to the author’s last name, first name or both. When entering a full name, enter the first name followed by the last name (i.e. John Smith).

The Title field narrows your search by article titles as they appear in the publication. Enter a complete article title if you know it exactly. For more general searches, try using single words or common phrases. For example:

  • enter price maintenance to find all articles with the exact phrase price maintenance in the title

Enter only one title at a time. Do not use quotes around titles or use any other advanced search functions in this field. Do not use French accents when searching by title.

A note on French accents when searching by Author and Title:

Article titles and author names in the publication do not include French accents (i.e. ELEMENTS DU COMPORTEMENT or ANDRE SAUVE). As a result, you must omit French accents when searching by title and/or author (i.e. enter "Elements ", not "Éléments ", and enter "Andre", not "André").
