2012 NATIONAL CHARITY LAW SYMPOSIUM

Mark your calendar! The Annual National Charity Law Symposium will be back again in the spring of 2012. This joint program of the Canadian Bar Association's and the Ontario Bar Association's Charity and Not-For-Profit Law Sections will bring together leading experts from across Canada to speak about the latest developments in this rapidly changing area. In-depth reviews of issues affecting charities in Canada will also be addressed.

From September 1, 2011 - August 31, 2013, the National Charities & Not-for-Profit Law Section Officers will be:

Treasurer: Yvonne Chénier (Calgary, AB)
Secretary: Theresa Man (Orangeville, ON)
Past-Chair: Terrance Carter (Orangeville, ON)

The Executive Committee also includes the Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario Charities & Not-for-Profit Law Section Chairs, and 21 additional Executive Members to assist with the work of the Section.

Section members are encouraged to contact Catherine Bisson for more information on opportunities to get actively involved in the Section’s activities.
