At-Home Dinners (Saturday)

Calgary’s legal community once again opens its doors and invites all registrants to a fabulous dinner at home.  Once you have signed up for an At-Home Dinner on the Registration Form, you will receive an invitation from your host. Please be courteous and RSVP to your host.

Opening Night at Heritage Park (Sunday)

• Visit Canada’s largest living historical village
• Experience village life at the turn of the century
• Be enchanted by the Calgary Fiddlers – a group of young musicians
• Ride the steam train, visit the haunted house, the baker and the ice cream parlour 
• Try the antique midway for rides and games
• Enjoy a Western Barbecue and
• Watch our feature entertainment in the Celebration Tent
• Dress: Western (casual)
• This event is included in the Registration Fee – please refer to the Registration Form
• Additional tickets: $80/adult, $30/child age 5-11

Law for the Future Fund Annual Golf Tournament (Monday)

• Split, staggered start begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13.

Law Firm Receptions (Monday)

• Don’t miss this opportunity to network!
• Alberta law firms and the Calgary Bar Association invite registered delegates and guests to enjoy their famous Western hospitality.

Jann Arden Concert (Monday) – following Law Firm Receptions

• Calgary’s own singer-songwriter cut her first single at the age of 17.  Her musical awards include Junos for best songwriter, best female artist, video of the year, female vocalist of the year and more.  She is known for her quirky, catchy melodies, her emotionally evocative voice and hundred-pound lyrics. Arden’s personable character and expert comic timing opened the door to cameo appearances in TV series and comedy programs. Laugh and cry a little with the inimitable Jann Arden.
• Admission to the Jann Arden Concert is included in the Registration Fee – please refer to the Registration Form.

Closing Gala at the Roundup Centre (Tuesday) – optional event

• Enjoy a fabulous dinner and dance to the tunes of the Alberta Lawyers’ Band.
• Have fun at a “Las Vegas Casino Night” – a Stampede Park Special Event.
• Try your hand at Blackjack, Roulette and the Money Wheel.  With $20,000 play money, you can afford to roll the dice.
• An evening not to be missed! Dress: formal. Cost per person: $120
