 Patrick J. Fitzgerald, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois and special counsel in the CIA leak investigation, delivered the opening keynote speech.
 Writer/actor Rick Mercer (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Made In Canada, Talking To Americans, The Rick Mercer Report) amused and delighted attendees at the closing lunch.
Other feature speakers included the Hon. John Crosbie, Brian Tobin, General Rick Hillier, actress/writer Cathy Jones, and lawyer/journalist Lisa Taylor.
 Great Big Sea brought the night to a close with their special blend of Newfoundland traditional music and modern pop.
