Practice
Founder of the firm of Carroll Heyd Chown that engages exclusively in insurance related litigation, Mr. Carroll was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1981. He practices in the field of insurance related litigation including personal injury, property and casualty claims, professional liability, occupier’s liability and products liability.

An active member of the Canadian Bar Association for close to 30 years, Mr. Carroll served as a member of the National Executive, National and Ontario councils, and was President of CBA-Ontario, now OBA, in 1993-1994. He was awarded the Law Society of Upper Canada medal for outstanding contribution to the legal profession.
