Donald Gordon Conference Centre, Kingston, ON
JOIN US IN WELCOMING MADAM JUSTICE MARION ALLAN – CONFERENCE KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Random observations from the Bench with respect to the challenges of elder law issues in Court -- Quaere the need for reform?
We are delighted to have the Honourable Madam Justice Marion Allan of the Supreme Court of British Columbia deliver the opening address. Madam Justice Allan is a pioneer in the area of Canadian Elder Law research and education. Justice Allan will briefly share "a view from the bench" including issues relating to the impact of the aging baby boomer demographic upon the substantive areas of criminal and family law. She will try to avoid bemoaning the fact that she comes from a province where issues of capacity are still governed by an archaic Patients' Property Act.
Register now to avoid disappointment!
