National International Law Section Any aspect of International Law, its development and application in domestic law, that is of special interest to Canada, such as: - to provide members with information on current developments of interest to lawyers interested international law (e.g., Hague conventions, trade agreements, labour rights agreements)
- to promote a better understanding of international law issues among CBA members, lawyers generally, government and the public
- to promote ongoing consultations with the Government of Canada on international law issues
- to contribute to the review of Canadian legislation relating to international law
- to facilitate interaction with lawyers interested in international law in countries outside of Canada
