What We Do Family Law covers divorce, adoption, child protection, common law and same–sex marriages, and generally all areas of family rights and responsibilities: property division; child custody, guardianship and access; mobility (moving away); child, spousal, and parental support. It also encompasses new methods of resolving such issues: family law mediation and collaborative law.

National Family Law Section The National Family Law Section examines the Law and practice relating to the family unit, relations between members of the family and the family and society, and matters related there to; and the establishment, jurisdiction, procedure and organization of courts and other tribunals dealing with these matters and the practice of lawyers before such courts and tribunals.
