National Administrative Law Section
The Section monitors and focuses upon judicial and other rule-making powers that have been conferred by law upon any public official, including issues relating to the jurisdiction, procedure, and organization of administrative tribunals..

Through its publications and seminars, the Section works to help lawyers whose practice brings them before such tribunals. In addition, Section activities offer administrative lawyers the opportunity to meet colleagues in the same practice areas and to maintain currency in statutory enactments and case law decisions..

Because of the close connection between administrative law and the legislatures of Canada, the Section also examines government and its role and organization. At both the National and branch level, the Section strives to adopt a leadership role in the reform and development of administrative law. Read more.
