The legal profession can rely on the online version of Parts I, II and III of the Canada Gazette in their proceedings and the courts can take judicial notice. The paper and online (PDF) versions will be published simultaneously. Both versions bear the Queen’s Printer imprimatur.
Part I (notices, appointments, proposed regulations, etc.) is published every Saturday. Part II (regulations, orders in council, orders and proclamations, etc.) is published every second Wednesday. Published after Royal Assent, Part III contains recent Public Acts of Parliament and their enactment proclamations.
