BarTalk April 2001 Volume 13, Number 2
Branch members have access to a wide range of products, services and discounts, and we want to ensure that you are aware of all the benefits available to you. Visit www.bccba.org for more information on member services.
Hotels Online
This year the Branch negotiated new and deeper discounts with hotels throughout BC. We reduced the number of hotels on the CBA preferred list, to include only those that were prepared to offer exceptional discounts. As a result, we now believe that rates available to members are better than they have ever been.
Our Web site (www.bccba.org) offers a complete description of our preferred hotels, by linking you directly to the hotels’ Web sites. Once in the CBA Web site, simply click on the heading “member products and services” and then click on “hotels”. Then find the hotel that suites you. The hotel Web sites generally allow you to book on line, although you may wish to telephone the hotel to confirm that you are getting the CBA rate. There are great deals to be had – one member recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites, a relatively new hotel in the “entertainment district” of Vancouver, and paid $89 per night, including a continental breakfast.
Arts Club Theatre Company
This Spring, enjoy significant CBA discounts on the London, Paris and Broadway hit, “Art”, which won New York’s Tony Award in 1998. Call Gina Singh at the Arts Club and identify yourself as a CBA member 604.687.5315, ext 254. Dinner packages are also now available in conjunction with the restaurant, Ouest.
