BarTalk February 2001
Volume 13, Number 1

Branch members have access to a wide range of products, services and discounts, and we want to ensure that you are aware of all the benefits available to you.

One of the most popular CBABC member services offered this year has been the discounted Canucks and Grizzlies ticket program, in which CBA members receive discounts on regular ticket prices, for selected games. While the Grizzlies were somewhat slow in developing a discount program with us, the discounts they now offer are substantial and sales have been brisk. So far this year, we have sold 422 Canucks tickets and 231 Grizzlies tickets for the eight Canucks and five Grizzlies games offered. As an example of the discounts available, a member can purchase a lower bowl Canucks ticket (regularly $78) for $53. A member can purchase a lower bowl corner ticket for a Grizzlies game (regularly $59) for $32. When I took my family of four to a Canucks game this fall, we saved $100. Note: while the CBA office coordinates the ticket sales, we have also incorporated a small administration fee (included in the discounted price) to cover the administration costs involved. Visit www.bccba.org for upcoming games.

Thank you for your support of this program. We welcome feedback on existing programs as well as any ideas that you may have for new programs. Please email the Member Services Committee at members@bccba.org.
