
Access to Justice is a Fundamental Right The core value of inclusivity was integral to Vancouver’s successful bid for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Paralympic Winter Games. As such, a strong commitment to upholding civil liberties before, during, and after the event was made in the bid’s Inclusive Intent Statement (Appendix B).
 What Are You Doing For Us? I walked through an airport check-in a couple of months ago and was required to give my occupation. I said I was a lawyer and was told I would be forgiven for that. I said forgiveness was not needed, as my profession was all that stood between individuals and tyranny.
