The Law Foundation of British Columbia
New Chair at the Law Foundation Victoria Gray, QC has been elected as Chair of the Law Foundation beginning April 23, 2001. Ms. Gray will complete the term of previous Chair David Brine, QC who accepted an appointment by the Attorney General of BC to become a Master of the Supreme Court.
Ms. Gray is a partner in the law firm of Bull, Housser & Tupper in a commercial and general civil litigation practice. She has been a Governor of the Foundation since 1996, and has served as Chair of the Foundation’s Policy and Planning Committee since 1998.
The Law Foundation of BC is a non-profit Foundation which receives the interest on lawyers’ pooled trust accounts and distributes it by means of grants in the support of legal research, law reform, legal education, legal aid and law libraries.
