Purpose

• To review and critique all resolutions to be presented Council.
• To ensure that the Branch Bylaws accurately reflect the current operations of the Branch.
• To ensure that Branch activities comply with the Branch and CBA Bylaws.

Method

• By setting the procedure and criteria for the presentation of resolutions to Council
• By reviewing all resolutions and providing comments on all resolutions prior to their presentation to Council.
• By reviewing the Branch Bylaws from time to time, and in any case, no less frequently than bi-annually, to ensure they accurately reflect the current operations of the Branch.
• By making recommendations for amendments to the Branch Bylaws as may be required.
• By drawing to the attention of Council, the Executive Committee or the Executive Director, as the circumstances may dictate, any failure to comply with the Bylaws.
