The 1999 recipient of the President’s Medal was Clare Barry, a Crown Counsel lawyer with Justice Canada. “Clare has contributed throughout her career to the advancement of the interests of public sector lawyers, young lawyers and women in the legal profession,” said President Mayland McKimm. “Her commitment to and involvement in the CBA have been extensive, and her profile and contribution as a volunteer within the community and the profession have really made a difference.” Ms. Barry now lives and works in Ottawa, and we congratulate CBAO on gaining an exceptional new member.
