Senior Justice System Representatives participate in panel presentation Q&A

Vancouver, BC – Access to justice, what does it mean to you?

Come out and join our panel of representatives Saturday, April 19th as they discuss the Law Week theme of Access To Justice: Breaking Down Barriers. The 2008 Vancouver Law Day Public Forum will take place at the Vancouver Public Library and will be moderated by Ian Hanomansing, host of CBC News: CANADA NOW.

Between 12:30pm and 2pm members of the public have an opportunity to attend the free Public Forum and ask Senior Justice System Representatives questions about the law in Canada. Among the notable representatives attending and included on the panel are the Honourable Chief Justice Brenner of the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Honourable Chief Judge Stansfield of the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Law Week is an annual national event that celebrates the signing of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. BC Law Week, an initiative of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about the law and the resources available to the public within the legal community.
