 CBABC Appointments New Executive Director

VANCOUVER, BC - President Frits Verhoeven, on behalf of the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Caroline Nevin as Executive Director. Ms. Nevin has served in senior management positions with the Branch since 1997, including five years as Associate Executive Director.

Ms. Nevin brings to her new role more than 22 years of experience in communications, business and association management in British Columbia and Alberta. Committed to excellence in association management, Ms. Nevin has earned the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) designation of Certified Association Executive as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Athabasca University. She is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration.

“The Canadian Bar Association BC Branch has launched an exciting course to improve every aspect of our service to the legal profession,” said Mr. Verhoeven. “BC lawyers have high expectations of their professional association, and we have appointed an Executive Director who we believe has the vision and management skills to help us exceed those expectations.”
