VANCOUVER - Margaret Ostrowski QC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank C Kraemer as the new Executive Director of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch.
Mr. Kraemer received his undergraduate and law degrees at Queen’s University (1974), and was called to the Bar in BC in 1975. He practised in family law and civil litigation for 13 years. He served six years as a Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) instructor before joining the Legal Services Society as a Client Services Manager in 1995. For the last 2½ years, Mr. Kraemer has been the Regional Director of the LSS Vancouver Branch.
Mr. Kraemer has volunteered as Inns of Courts Program Coordinator since 1990, under the direction of Chief Justice Allen McEachern. Mr. Kraemer served seven years as Board member and is the Past President of the Little Mountain Residential Care and Housing Society.
Mr. Kraemer has been a CBABC member for 26 years, and has served as a Chair of the Vancouver Family Law Section and as a member of the CBABC Provincial Council.
Mr. Kraemer is dedicated to forging strong relationships with and between the legal profession, other law related organizations and the public.
