As part of a busy civil litigation practice, has successfully negotiated settlements and seen disputes resolved through mediation. Has spoken and consulted on privacy issues and employment law for clients and community organizations. Significant personal experience in university governance and student government, including sitting as member of Senate and Board of Governors of Concordia University, including acting as a member of, inter alia, a University executive search committee and academic appeals committee and Judicial Board of a student union. Current passion is advocacy on behalf of young lawyers in British Columbia (current Young Lawyers’ Officer on Executive Committee).

Areas of Practice Experience
Civil litigation, particularly in the insurance, employment and commercial sectors, with experience in personal injury (motor vehicle and product liability), multi-party disputes, vicarious liability, debtor-creditor, real estate, transportation. Significant expertise in privacy law and administrative law, including professional regulation.
