Member of the BC Mediator Rosters (Civil and Family); on the Board of Directors of the Greater Victoria Citizens’ Counselling Centre (which provides lay counselling to the public as well as counselling, education and programs); Past Chair of the National Family Section of the Canadian Bar Association; former member of the Federal Government Family Law Advisory Committee; former Executive Member of the Victoria Collaborative Family Law Group; served as a Sessional instructor at the University of Victoria Law School (Civil Procedure and Children and the Law); ongoing contributor to Continuing Legal Education courses and publications in the area of Family Law.

Called to the Bar in 1982 and completed training as a Family Law Mediator in 1993. Practice areas include Civil litigation, Family Law, Collaborative Family Law, and Mediation in the following areas: Family Law, Wills and Estates, Small Business, Commercial/Corporate, General Civil.
