The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association is the only member organization in Canada providing a dedicated national forum and voice for the in-house counsel profession.
Established in 1988 as a conference of the Canadian Bar Association, CCCA is now more than 8,700 members strong and growing rapidly. CCCA membership consists of corporate counsel employed in virtually every industry in Canada, encompassing public and private businesses, non-profit organizations, municipalities and crown corporations. CCCA welcomes associate members from law firms whose support and expertise enrich CCCA's educational programs and events.
CCCA holds two national conferences a year, a National Spring Conference in April and an Annual Meeting in August. These events offer substantive educational programs focused on issues facing in-house lawyers today, and feature speakers and panelists from leadership roles in business, government, policy and law, in Canada and beyond. CCCA conferences provide members with unparalleled opportunities to network and share ideas with their Canadian colleagues, as well as contacts from CCCA's affiliated corporate counsel associations in the United States, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
In addition, the Association provides stand-alone continuing legal education and management seminars throughout the year, supports learning and peer-to-peer networking opportunities for eleven CCCA Chapters nationwide, recognizes excellence in the profession, and offers a variety of benefits serving the unique needs of in-house counsel. CCCA welcomes your questions – and invite you to join!
