Duncan McCue is Anishinaube (Ojibwa), and a member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nations in southern Ontario. Duncan graduated from UBC Law School. He was called to the Bar in BC in 1998. The day after his call, he became a reporter at CBC-TV News in Vancouver. His award-winning news and current affairs pieces are featured on CBC's flagship news show, The National. His coverage of aboriginal issues was recently honoured with the first-ever BC Region RTNDA Adrienne Clarkson Diversity Award. He is also currently a visiting professor at the UBC School of Journalism, and has taught documentary journalism to indigenous film students at Capilano College.
