Report Confirms That Education is Key to Public Confidence in the Justice System
In a report released today by the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, SFU Professor Neil Boyd confirms that research from Canada and around the world supports the link between public confidence and education about the legal system. The Honourable Donald Brenner, QC Tribute Dinner
A Tribute Dinner for The Honourable Donald Brenner, QC, was held on January 21, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel with 450 members of the Bench and Bar, including 19 Chief Justices from across the country and the Chief Justice of Canada, The Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, PC. At the request of former Chief Justice Brenner, proceeds from the dinner benefited Access Pro Bono BC and the Justice Education Society.
