BC Courthouse Libraries say "Goodbye Microfiche"

New computer workstations have been installed in courthouse libraries across the province. They will provide access to the BC Courthouse Library Society's Web site which includes the library's online catalogue. Users can also connect to legal research sites available on the Internet from our list of links. Quicklink software has also been installed on each workstation to permit Quicklaw searching for those users with passwords.

Installations have been completed at the following locations: Campbell River, Chilliwack, Colwood, Courtenay, Cranbrook, Delta, Duncan, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Nelson, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Penticton, Port Alberni, Port Coquitlam, Prince George, Quesnel, Rossland, Salmon Arm, Surrey, Terrace, Vernon, Victoria and Williams Lake. The schedule has not yet been finalized for the remaining courthouse library locations.

For further information contact Information Services at 604.660.2841, 1.800.665.2570 or bccls@bccls.bc.ca.
