BarTalk June 2000 Volume 12, Number 3
Welcome to the new Member Services Update. In each issue of BarTalk, space permitting, we will give you the latest information on new and existing member services. Branch members have access to a wide range of products, services and discounts, and we want to ensure that you are aware of all the benefits available to you. We are hoping that this new column will help. The Member Services Committee welcomes all feedback and ideas that you might have. If you have an idea, comment or complaint, please call the Branch Office.
The Arts Club and Stanley Theatres
Our Canucks and Grizzlies discounted ticket program was hugely successful, and now you can enjoy live theatre at reduced rates. Effective immediately, all CBA Branch members and their families can enjoy savings of 20 per cent off ticket prices at the newly renovated Stanley Theatre and the intimate and enjoyable Arts Club Granville Island Stage. For those of you who live in the Lower Mainland or for those of you planning a trip to Vancouver, use this as an opportunity to enjoy live theatre at a reasonable price!
When ordering tickets for either theatre, telephone Corporate Sales at 604.687.5315, ext 259, and ask for the CBA Branch discount.
AT&T Canada
AT&T is now offering Branch members local, long distance and Internet services at extremely competitive rates. You can switch to AT&T for free, keep your existing number, and enjoy the first month free. Long distance rates are 9 cents per minute, and you will enjoy 45 per cent off outbound international calls. Start saving money and reducing your overhead by taking advantage of the discounts available in this highly competitive and changing market. Call Kathy Toni at AT&T Canada 604.638.4277.
Sports
We are in the process of negotiating discounts for members for summer sports teams. In the fall, look for a continuation of the Canucks and Grizzlies discounted ticket program, and for those members on our eastern border, discounts on selected Calgary Flame games.
