Farewell Dinner for Betty Lambert
On December 9 approximately 180 Crown and defence counsel, judges from all levels of court, registry staff and other friends attended a dinner hosted by the Criminal Justice - Vancouver Section honouring Ms. Betty Lambert. Ms. Lambert retired in January from her position as the trial coordinator of the criminal division of the Supreme Court of BC--a position she has held for more than 10 years. It was clear from the many toasts that Ms. Lambert will be greatly missed. The Section presented her with a retirement gift of a trip for two to Hawaii.
