Executive Committee The Executive Committee meets eight times a year. The Committee determines the mandates and direction of Committees and Sections and steers their activities toward achieving the eight priorities of the CBABC, which are: - to promote the interests of lawyers and other members;
- to support members’ professional education;
- to be the voice of the profession;
- to provide member services;
- to promote inclusiveness and diversity in the law schools, the Branch and the profession;
- to enhance communications with the membership;
- to promote and enhance the image of lawyers; and
- to promote the public interest.

Provincial Council The purpose of Provincial Council is to carry on the work of the Branch and advance its objects. Subject to the paramount authority of the National Council, the Council shall have the same powers for the advancement of the strictly provincial affairs of the Association within the province as the National Council has for the Canadian Bar Association as a whole. The Council meets three times a year.
