New Articles Registry Launched in British Columbia
On July 15, 2008, the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch (CBABC) and the Law Society of British Columbia launched an Articles Registry that is hosted on the CBABC website. The Registry responds directly to the needs of law firms and law students in British Columbia. Law students can search for available articles by interest, location and start date and law firms can post multiple articles with varying criteria. Read the news release.

Consultations on Draft Civil Rules and Draft Family Rules Extended
Concept Drafts of the proposed Supreme Court Civil Rules and the Supreme Court Family Rules are posted on a Justice Review Task Force (JRTF) website at www.bcjusticereviewforum.ca. Members of the judiciary, lawyers, paralegals, advocates, court registry staff and others are encouraged to provide feedback to the JRTF via this online forum by December 31, 2008.
