This section focuses on topics specific to tax practitioners, with a particular emphasis in providing an educational forum for junior to mid-level practitioners. Presentations include specialized tax topics, current personal and corporate tax planning, tax litigation, commodity tax, international tax and Canadian tax administration and legislative policy. Speakers from the local and national tax bar, the Canada Revenue Agency, provincial taxation authorities, the Department of Finance, and the judiciary and academia provide those technical presentations. Topics and speakers are offered in conjunction with other sections where the speaker or topic is of interest to them.
