There are very few areas of the law which are not affected, directly or indirectly, by tax laws. The purpose of this section is to educate and update non-tax practitioners about how and when tax issues may be relevant to their practice areas and to better understand these issues. Presentations are designed to provide non-tax practitioners with a general understanding of the relevant tax issues without focusing in detail on the precise technical underpinnings. The sessions are meant to refresh or inform non-tax practitioners of tax issues to be considered and to appreciate and identify when further consideration may be required.
