About
The purpose of the International Business Law Section is to provide a forum for practitioners to discuss recent developments in international law which impact individuals and corporations in Alberta. Section meetings have explored issues related to international negotiations, international tax, international arbitration, Sarbanes-Oxley and petroleum developments in Russia, China and postwar Iraq. In addition to meetings, section membership provides a conduit to the national CBA International Law Section. The section hosts an annual Christmas social for members to meet in a less formal setting. Section membership also includes an annual subscription to Canadian International Lawyer.
