Every Month
Membership in the Immigration and Citizenship Law Section is an essential tool for immigration lawyers in Calgary and its surrounding areas. Our monthly meetings provide the best means of staying informed on frequently changing immigration legislation, policy and practice. Our national e-mail listserv provides an invaluable opportunity to share experiences and learn from colleagues across Canada. The Section has an excellent relationship with all government agencies involved in immigration matters. Government representatives frequently speak at our monthly meetings and our section organizes field trips to government offices such as CPC Vegreville where possible. We also meet socially at an annual Christmas party and at a well-attended Stampede BBQ.
