This section focuses on topics including various procedural aspects of foreclosure, options and potential pitfalls for lenders, developing debtor-creditor law in this and other jurisdictions, and the involvement, and use of other professional agencies in foreclosures. Speakers, both from inside and outside the foreclosure bar, provide a wide variety of perspectives to help you make your practice more efficient. The section also enjoys a long-standing and solid relationship with the masters of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta; it presents an annual lunch with the masters to discuss matters of importance to the bench and bar in foreclosure practice area and a social lunch with the masters to encourage and facilitate relations between the bench and the bar.
