This Section's goal is to practically assist members who serve the older adult population through information, discussion and education on issues relevant to the rights of older adults. Topics affecting the elder practice include: institutional issues, the Mental Health Act, protection of the elderly in abusive situations, taking instructions, capacity matters, independence, housing, legal rights, ethics, pensions, and immigration issues.
