This section presents lectures on topics that cover a wide range of civil practice areas in Southern Alberta. The 2009 - 2010 season will emphasize new developments in Class Actions, the Rules of Court Project, Media Awareness and Summary Trials, amongst other topics. This section seeks to strike a balance between plaintiff and defence topics and address issues of interest to members in a variety of practice settings. Finally, the Civil Litigation Section is fortunate to enjoy a close relationship with the bench, and judicial speakers are often available.
