About
The ADR section focuses on the evolving development of Alternative Dispute Resolution practices. These include mediation, collaborative law, arbitration and interest-based negotiation. ADR is rapidly expanding and the section will continue to host speakers from various organizations and programs of interest, and members of the bench. Topics under consideration for the upcoming year include Collaborative Law in a Civil Context; Interest-Based Lawyering ("Disarming the Uncivil Litigator"); Advocacy in ADR; Negotiating with Unrepresented Parties; Training Update. The section executive is willing to consult on any ADR initiatives.
