This Section focuses on topics of interest to both tax and non-tax practitioners. Planning, compliance and litigation issues in the areas of domestic and international income and excise tax are explored, including estate planning and trust law issues. Speakers are drawn from practicing members of the bar, the Tax Court of Canada, academia, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Alberta and federal Departments of Finance, the Alberta and federal Departments of Justice and the accounting profession.
