About
This Section’s focus is to provide its membership with an overview of the policies, rules and procedures of relevant securities regulators, principally the Alberta Securities Commission, the TSX Venture Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. As well, participants in the securities industry, such as transfer agents, brokerage firms and venture capitalists provide advice on issues facing reporting issuers and non-private issuers. The main objective of the Section is to provide its members with up-to-date information to assist them in understanding the ever-changing field of securities law.
