Distinguished Service Awards

Distinguished Service Awards sponsored by the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association Alberta

2010 Distinguished Service Awards for members of the profession who have made outstanding contributions to the community, to the profession, to legal scholarship and pro bono legal service were presented at the CBA Alberta Law Conference luncheon on Friday, January 29, 2010.

The Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association - Alberta are pleased to announce the 2010 recipients of the Distinguished Service awards. They are:

Virginia M. May, QC, for Distinguished Service to the Profession
Professor Gerald Gall, OC, for Distinguished Service in Legal Scholarship
Solomon J. Rolingher, QC, for Distinguished Service to the Community
The late John A. Weir, QC, for Distinguished Service in Pro Bono
